Honda's first factory produced chopper (VT1300CX) comes to the UK
Honda (UK) Motorcycles have announced that their first factory produced chopper the VT1300CX will be coming to the UK in 2010. This Honda chopper is powered by a 1312cc 52-degree fuel-injected V-twin found in the popular VTX1300 machine, but with a re-profiled camshafts and a new exhaust system. Apparently the single-pin crank gives the bike a unique sound which growls through the machine’s twin stacked pipes.
The radiators for the liquid-cooled machine are tucked out of sight for a more ‘traditional’ look. It has a new programmed fuel injection system, further contributing to the impressively low fuel consumption of 56.5mpg*
The VT1300CX will be available in two colours – the striking glint blue wave metallic or graphite black.
Ride safe.
